Bangued is a municipality in the landlocked province of Abra. It serves as the provincial capital.
The municipality has a land area of 136.40 square kilometers or 52.66 square miles which constitutes 3.25% of Abra's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 50,382.
