Palawan is a province in the Philippines situated in the MIMAROPA Region grouped under the Luzon island group.

The province has a land area of 14,649.73 square kilometers or 5,656.29 square miles. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 939,594. This represented 29.10% of the total population of the MIMAROPA Region, 1.51% of the overall population of the Luzon island group, or 0.86% of the entire population of the Philippines. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 64 inhabitants per square kilometer or 166 inhabitants per square mile.
