Banna, formerly known as Espiritu, is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Ilocos Norte.

The municipality has a land area of 92.73 square kilometers or 35.80 square miles which constitutes 2.71% of Ilocos Norte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 19,297.
