Daraga, formerly known as Locsin, is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Albay.

The municipality has a land area of 118.64 square kilometers or 45.81 square miles which constitutes 4.61% of Albay's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 126,595. This represented 9.63% of the total population of Albay province, or 2.18% of the overall population of the Bicol Region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 1,067 inhabitants per square kilometer or 2,763 inhabitants per square mile.
