Legazpi is a coastal component city in the province of Albay. It serves as the provincial capital as well as the regional center of the Bicol Region.
The city has a land area of 161.61 square kilometers or 62.40 square miles which constitutes 6.28% of Albay's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 209,533. This represented 15.24% of the total population of Albay province, or 3.45% of the overall population of the Bicol Region.
