Esperanza is a coastal municipality in the island province of Masbate.
The municipality has a land area of 67.49 square kilometers or 26.06 square miles which constitutes 1.63% of Masbate's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 17,534. This represented 1.93% of the total population of Masbate province, or 0.29% of the overall population of the Bicol Region.
