Del Carmen, formerly known as Numancia, is a coastal municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte.
The municipality has a land area of 151.68 square kilometers or 58.56 square miles which constitutes 7.77% of Surigao del Norte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 20,127. This represented 3.76% of the total population of Surigao del Norte province, or 0.72% of the overall population of the Caraga region.
