Lanao del Norte is a province in the Philippines situated in the Northern Mindanao region occupying the northern-central section of Mindanao. Its capital is the Municipality of Tubod.

The province has a land area of 3,346.57 square kilometers or 1,292.12 square miles. The 2015 Census records its population as 676,395 representing 14.42% of the total population of the Northern Mindanao region, 2.80% of the overall population of the Mindanao island group, or 0.67% of the entire population of the Philippines. Based on such figures, the population density is computed at 202 inhabitants per square kilometer or 523 inhabitants per square mile.

Lanao del Norte is bordered, clockwise from the North, by Iligan Bay, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Lanao del Sur, and Illana Bay, Pagadian Bay, Zamboanga del Sur.

Lanao del Norte has 22 municipalities. The total number of barangays in the province is 506. The City of Iligan is commonly grouped with the province, although it is administratively independent due to its distinction as a highly urbanized city.
