Magsaysay, formerly known as Linugos, is a coastal municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental.
The municipality has a land area of 143.14 square kilometers or 55.27 square miles which constitutes 4.57% of Misamis Oriental's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 36,803. This represented 3.85% of the total population of Misamis Oriental province, or 0.73% of the overall population of the Northern Mindanao region.
