Arakan is a municipality in the landlocked province of Cotabato.
The municipality has a land area of 693.22 square kilometers or 267.65 square miles which constitutes 7.44% of Cotabato's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 50,558. This represented 3.39% of the total population of Cotabato province, or 1.03% of the overall population of the SOCCSKSARGEN region.
