Medellin is a coastal municipality in the island province of Cebu.
The municipality has a land area of 73.19 square kilometers or 28.26 square miles which constitutes 1.48% of Cebu's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 59,605. This represented 1.79% of the total population of Cebu province, or 0.74% of the overall population of the Central Visayas region.
