Santa Maria, formerly known as Imelda, is a coastal municipality in the island province of Romblon.
The municipality has a land area of 36.20 square kilometers or 13.98 square miles which constitutes 2.36% of Romblon's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 8,989. This represented 2.91% of the total population of Romblon province, or 0.28% of the overall population of the MIMAROPA Region.
