San Juan, formerly known as Lapog, is a coastal municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur.

The municipality has a land area of 64.37 square kilometers or 24.85 square miles which constitutes 2.48% of Ilocos Sur's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 26,411. This represented 3.83% of the total population of Ilocos Sur province, or 0.53% of the overall population of the Ilocos Region.
