Tarlac City is a component city in the landlocked province of Tarlac. It serves as the provincial capital.
The city has a land area of 274.66 square kilometers or 106.05 square miles which constitutes 9.02% of Tarlac's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 385,398. This represented 25.63% of the total population of Tarlac province, or 3.10% of the overall population of the Central Luzon region.
