Silang is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Cavite.
The municipality has a land area of 209.43 square kilometers or 80.86 square miles which constitutes 13.72% of Cavite's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 295,644. This represented 6.80% of the total population of Cavite province, or 1.83% of the overall population of the CALABARZON region.
