Kalayaan, formerly known as Longos, is a municipality in the landlocked province of Laguna.
The municipality has a land area of 46.60 square kilometers or 17.99 square miles which constitutes 2.43% of Laguna's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 23,269. This represented 0.77% of the total population of Laguna province, or 0.16% of the overall population of the CALABARZON region.
