The municipality has a land area of 172.65 square kilometers or 66.66 square miles which constitutes 14.48% of Rizal's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 369,222. This represented 12.80% of the total population of Rizal province, or 2.56% of the overall population of the CALABARZON region.
