Panganiban, formerly known as Payo, is a coastal municipality in the island province of Catanduanes.
The municipality has a land area of 79.96 square kilometers or 30.87 square miles which constitutes 5.36% of Catanduanes's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 9,713. This represented 3.57% of the total population of Catanduanes province, or 0.16% of the overall population of the Bicol Region.
