Guindulungan is a landlocked municipality in the province of Maguindanao del Sur, which was created from the once-unpartitioned province of Maguindanao.
The municipality has a land area of 130.68 square kilometers or 50.46 square miles which constitutes 1.31% of Maguindanao's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 24,933. This represented 1.86% of the total population of Maguindanao province, or 0.57% of the overall population of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
