Pagalungan is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Maguindanao.
The municipality has a land area of 898.76 square kilometers or 347.01 square miles which constitutes 9.24% of Maguindanao's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 39,653.
