Luuk is a coastal municipality in the island province of Sulu.
The municipality has a land area of 313.04 square kilometers or 120.87 square miles which constitutes 6.88% of Sulu's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 37,873. This represented 3.79% of the total population of Sulu province, or 0.86% of the overall population of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
