Masiu is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Lanao del Sur.
The municipality has a land area of 170.00 square kilometers or 65.64 square miles which constitutes 1.13% of Lanao del Sur's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 33,580.
