Tugaya is a landlocked municipality in the coastal province of Lanao del Sur.
The municipality has a land area of 355.76 square kilometers or 137.36 square miles which constitutes 2.36% of Lanao del Sur's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 24,778.
