Basilisa, formerly known as Rizal, is a coastal municipality in the island province of Dinagat Islands.

The municipality has a land area of 92.68 square kilometers or 35.78 square miles which constitutes 8.94% of Dinagat Islands's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 36,880. This represented 29.00% of the total population of Dinagat Islands province, or 1.42% of the overall population of the Caraga region.
