Del Carmen, formerly known as Numancia, is a coastal municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte.

The municipality has a land area of 151.68 square kilometers or 58.56 square miles which constitutes 7.69% of Surigao del Norte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 18,392. This represented 3.79% of the total population of Surigao del Norte province, or 0.71% of the overall population of the Caraga region.
