The municipality has a land area of 312.13 square kilometers or 120.51 square miles which constitutes 3.46% of Cotabato's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 95,070. This represented 6.89% of the total population of Cotabato province, or 2.09% of the overall population of the SOCCSKSARGEN region.
