Koronadal is a landlocked component city in the coastal province of South Cotabato. It serves as the provincial capital as well as the regional center of SOCCSKSARGEN.
The city has a land area of 277.00 square kilometers or 106.95 square miles which constitutes 7.30% of South Cotabato's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 195,398.
