Sulat is a coastal municipality in the province of Eastern Samar.
The municipality has a land area of 169.75 square kilometers or 65.54 square miles which constitutes 3.68% of Eastern Samar's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 15,758. This represented 3.30% of the total population of Eastern Samar province, or 0.35% of the overall population of the Eastern Visayas region.
