Hilongos is a coastal municipality in the province of Leyte.
The municipality has a land area of 192.92 square kilometers or 74.49 square miles which constitutes 3.05% of Leyte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 64,514. This represented 3.63% of the total population of Leyte province, or 1.42% of the overall population of the Eastern Visayas region.
