Villaba is a coastal municipality in the province of Leyte.
The municipality has a land area of 150.31 square kilometers or 58.04 square miles which constitutes 2.38% of Leyte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 41,891. This represented 2.43% of the total population of Leyte province, or 0.94% of the overall population of the Eastern Visayas region.
