San Juan, formerly known as Cabalian, is a coastal municipality in the province of Southern Leyte.

The municipality has a land area of 96.12 square kilometers or 37.11 square miles which constitutes 5.34% of Southern Leyte's total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 14,858. This represented 3.52% of the total population of Southern Leyte province, or 0.33% of the overall population of the Eastern Visayas region.
